Coalescer Contaminant Measurement

The CCM system is commonly used to measure the liquid contaminant content in a pipeline to determine the type of separation equipment required for optimal economic performance. As liquid increases in volume it will start to travel along the sides of a gas pipeline as a liquid stream. The volume of a stream of liquid in a pipeline is important to know prior to the selection and sizing of separation equipment. Solids collected on the testing element can also be quantitatively analyzed with a microscope for size and general content. The CCM skid can be used to measure the performance of separation equipment, troubleshoot contaminant problems, and to pilot test coalescer element technologies for use on a system's specific contaminant species. |
